    About The Dole

The Dole & Lakeside Legacy Foundation

The Dole is host to the Lakeside Legacy Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to preserve and protect the Dole Mansion and lakeside property for community use in a natural and historic setting.

Today, The Dole is Crystal Lakeʼs go-to community destination, delivering high quality cornerstone events and supporting local non-profit organizations. The events hosted by The Dole directly support the preservation of the property.

    The Dole Mansion is a Victorian-era Italianate residence constructed in 1865 for Charles Sidney Dole, an influential grain baron and ice harvester.
