The Dole Estate Preservation Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the 12 acres of oaks, trails, gardens at The Dole. They host educational workshops and presentations and various community events designed to help engage and educate the public on protecting our natural resources and trees.
The Dole has been an important part of the Crystal Lake and Chicago communities since 1865. It is a cultural icon for the McHenry County community.
